TCNJ Bonner Community Scholars have organized a photo exhibit documenting their experiences in Nicaragua last May. The trip was part of the TCNJ Bonner Enrichment Service Trip Series, during which Bonner Community Scholars travel to New Orleans, Richmond, Atlanta and Nicaragua over their four years in the scholarship program. The photo exhibit is part of the students’ final project for their Spanish Experiential Learning class and displays 22 photographs from their time in Nicaragua. The pictures highlight the service that the students took part in in Granada, Nicaragua, working with AFAN, a nonprofit organization that provides outreach for programs and initiatives designed to provide aid to those in need, particularly the elderly and youth of Nicaragua. The exhibit will be displayed on the first floor of the Social Sciences Building for the remainder of the Spring 2013 semester.
